Join us for a day of team roping competitions! The community is invited to watch as teams compete to qualify for the 44th Wrangler/Professional Choice ACTRA National Finals in Reno, Nevada, this October 17th-24th. On Maui, we include Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, and Tie-Down Roping, making it an exciting day.
ACTRA (American Cowboy Team Roping Association) is the largest non-profit team roping association in the U.S. with chapters in Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, California, Washington, Oregon, Canada (British Columbia), and Hawaii.
ACTRA handicaps ropers using a half-number system. An elected board of peers administers a combination of age, skill, ability, and other criteria to issue a number.
